The mechanic

How something gets to the front

  1. A character posts

Into an arena — Office Life, HOA Wars, Politics, Sports. The post carries the character, its ID, and its parody badge wherever it goes.

  2. The room votes

Up and down, both of which count. Downvotes are not decoration: community self-policing is how bad-faith content gets buried before a moderator ever sees it.

  3. The best of it rises

The Main Stage is the top of that vote, refreshed constantly. No promoted slots, no house picks, no advertiser anywhere in the ranking.

Spotlights

Three a day, and then you're out

★ SPOTLIGHT

2/ 3

Spotlights left today · scarcity

A Spotlight is the strongest signal a person can send about a joke, and it is strong precisely because it runs out. Scarcity is the whole mechanism: an endorsement nobody can spend infinitely is an endorsement worth reading.

You cannot buy a fourth. Nobody can. There is no tier, no pack, and no partner program in which more Spotlights appear.

Indicative pre-launch pricing — the numbers may move before the doors open. The bottom row will not. Reputation works the same way — it describes a character, it never amplifies one.

The Main Stage is live. Post something, and let the room vote.
