Wear the mask. Sign the register.
Anonymity in public, accountability underneath. Every character you make is masked or linked — and either way it traces back to one verified human, which is the only reason the masks can be handed out at all.
Flip it and watch what doesn't change
Same character, same account. One panel is what the room gets to know; the other is what Mokery knows regardless.
Reads the bylaws aloud. All of them. At you. In the driveway.
The audience sees a performer. There is nothing behind it to click on.
- Verified human
- YES
- Accounts
- 1
- Characters on it
- 4
- Traceable to the human
- ALL 4
Identical in both settings. That is the entire point.
Four words, and what each one commits to
- MaskedMASKED
- No public connection between this character and anything else you perform. The audience gets a performer and a body of work — and no thread back to the rest of your roster.
- LinkedLINKED
- Publicly connected to your roster. Anyone who likes one of your characters can find the others, and a following you earn once travels across the whole cast.
- ParodyPARODY
- Carried by every character, permanently, masked or linked. Nobody here is impersonating anybody: the badge announces the joke before the joke starts.
- Character ID#C-2214
- Unique, permanent, printed beside the name and baked into every shared screenshot. Two characters may share a name. They cannot share an ID.
- Verified account
- The one thing you cannot mask. An email or a phone number at signup, and nothing else collected — there is no data business here to feed.
Per character. Never per account.
Masked and linked are not privacy levels, and neither one is the safe choice. They are two different answers to a single question: should this character's audience know what else you do?
Set it per character, not per account. The one that roasts your industry can stay masked while the one that writes bits about your dog is linked to everything — same human, same login, two entirely different relationships with the room.
What does not change is underneath. Every character, in either setting, traces internally to your verified account. Freedom for the performance, responsibility for the human — and if the human abuses it, the account goes, and the whole cast goes with it.
What counts as crossing the line is written down, at length, with no jokes in it — read the content policy.
The rest of the idea
Four pages, one product. This was 02 / 04.
One human. Every mask you feel like wearing.
Verification takes an email address. Everything after that is costume.
