Where the line is
Mokery is built for the jokes that get people banned elsewhere. That only works if the platform is unambiguous about the thing it will not tolerate — and about what happens when someone crosses it.
The stance
We moderate conduct, not taste
Every other platform draws its line at how a joke sounds. Tone-policing is cheap to enforce and it removes the entire genre along with the problem. We draw the line somewhere harder to game: not at how uncomfortable a joke is, but at what it does to a real person.
Dark humor, brutal satire, a ruthless roast of a bad take — that is the product, and none of it is a violation here. Targeted harassment, unbadged impersonation, doxxing and threats are not edgy comedy that went too far. They are a different activity wearing comedy as cover, and they are the exit.
Freedom requires structure. The permissive stance is only survivable because it is paired with hard guardrails, and the guardrails are not negotiable — they are the reason the freedom can exist at all.

Six of them, and none is optional. They are what a permissive content stance costs — and the reason it can be offered at all.
Internal accountability, always
Every character — masked or linked — is internally accountable to one verified account. The audience sees the performance. The platform sees the person. The privacy is yours; the accountability is ours.
Parody badges and character IDs
Public-figure characters carry an automatic, permanent parody badge and a unique character ID on the avatar. Both travel with every post and every shared screenshot, so a joke can never be mistaken for a statement.
Community self-policing by design
The scoreboard does moderation work before a moderator has to. Downvotes bury bad-faith content, and the room is very good at spotting someone who came to hurt rather than to perform.
Account-level bans
Enforcement lands on the human, not the character. A ban removes every character on the account at once, masked and linked — the whole cast, the reputation, the greatest hits. That is what makes the deal expensive to break.
A written policy and a reporting toolkit
A written content policy and a v1 moderation and reporting toolkit are launch requirements, in active development. The draft is published below rather than kept private — you should be able to read the rules before you agree to them.
