The rule

Describes. Never amplifies.

Most platforms make the same quiet trade: build a following, and the machine starts handing your posts to people who never asked for them. Reputation stops being a record and becomes a multiplier — and once it is a multiplier, the funniest thing in the room loses to the biggest account in the room.

Mokery splits the two apart on purpose. A résumé is descriptive: it is evidence, sitting where a reader can weigh it. Ranking stays with the audience, per post, every time.

What a résumé does

  • Tells a room whether a character has earned the bit before it reads the bit
  • Travels with the character — into every shared screenshot, off the site and back
  • Sticks to the character ID, so a rename never launders a record
  • Belongs to the mask, not to the human wearing it

What it never does

  • Never adds reach to a post
  • Never moves a character up the Main Stage
  • Never earns, buys, or unlocks a fourth Spotlight
  • Never transfers to another character on your account
Whose record

It belongs to the character

Reputation is earned per character, never per account. The character who spent a season becoming the funniest HOA president online carries that record alone — your other three start at zero, as they should.

That holds for masked characters too. A masked performer builds exactly the same résumé as a linked one; the record belongs to the mask, and nothing about it points back at the human underneath.
